中电控股以17冷凝器.8亿美元出售Iona燃气厂冷凝器

据道琼斯通讯社10月8日消息，中电控股公司为优化在澳大利亚地区的投资，同意以17.8亿美元出售该地一座天然气处理压缩工厂。

中电控股公司本身由香港嘉道理家族控股，是香港两家发电企业中体量较大的一家。该公司称其澳洲电力公司已经同意出售维多利亚州西南部的Iona燃气厂。

买方最终拥有人昆士兰投资公司（QIC）是昆士兰政府控股的一家全球多元化替代能源投资公司，主营基础设施、不动产、流动性策略及多元资产投资，也是澳大利亚最大的机构投资管理公司之一。

中电控股预测将从该笔交易中获得未审计利润83亿港币，交易预计于2015年底完成。

中电控股在中国大陆、台湾地区、越南、澳大利亚与印度投资了一系列电厂与能源资产，作为扩大香港外成熟能源市场战略的一部分。

为提升经营效率并优化在澳大利亚投资，中电控股澳洲电力公司7月启动了一轮招标流程，旨在衡量Iona天然气工厂的市场利益。

参与竞购的企业还包括APA集团，该公司拟达成的任何潜在交易皆受澳大利亚竞争与消费者保护委员会的审查。

声明发出后，AGL能源集团称其已获得使用Iona天然气存储设施进行天然气长期存储的权利。

CLP Holdings agreed to sell a gas processing and compression plant in Australia for $1.78 billion, as it seeks to optimize its investments in Australia.

The larger of Hong Kong's two power providers, which is controlled by Hong Kong's wealthy Kadoorie family, said its EnergyAustralia unit, has agreed to sell the Iona gas plant in southwest Victoria, to a consortium comprising the QIC Global Infrastructure Fund and existing QIC clients.

QIC, owned by the Queensland government, is a global diversified alternatives investment firm offering infrastructure, real estate, private equity, liquid strategies and multiasset investments, and is one of the largest instituti振冲器onal investment managers in Australia.

CLP estimated an unaudited gain of $HK8.3bn from the disposal, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2015.

The company has invested in a portfolio of power plants and energy assets in China, Vietnam, Australia, Taiwan and India as part of its strategy of expanding outside Hong Kong's mature energy market.

In efforts to improve operational efficiency and optimize its investments in Australia, CLP's EnergyAustralia in July launched a bidding process aimed at gauging market interest in感应开关 the Iona gas plant.

Rival bidders for Iona included APA Group, which faced scrutiny over any potential deal from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Following the announcement, AGL Energy said it had secured long-term gas storage rights utilising the Iona gas storage facility.

"The new storage rights remain subject to a number of conditions precedent, including completion of the sale from EnergyAustralia to Iona Operations," the group said.
